Chelsea Agree Personal Terms To Sign Monaco's French Defender Badiashile

Chelsea are progressing fast on a deal for Monaco’s Benoit Badiashile. Personal terms have already been agreed with the French defender. 

Chelsea are impressed by Badiashile’s calmness on the ball, aggression and imposing aerial qualities.

Definitely room for improvement, too. Displays good anticipation when defending counter attacks, but a little more exposed with back to goal when attackers run at him or move intricately around the box.

Type of signing with huge potential but who may need time to adapt to the EPL.

Chelsea’s deal to sign Benoit Badiashile from AS Monaco is in the ‘final stages’. All parties believe a deal will be done soon. Personal terms are in place and the player wants to join.
