Emmanuel Dennis Gives One Hundred Percent Effort – Ranieri

Image
Watford of England attacker, Emmanuel Dennis Bonaventure has been rated very high by his coach, Claudio Ranieri, who posited that the in-form hitman gives 100% effort to the club. The Italian football tactician declared as much ahead of his side’s mid-week battle with Chelsea in the English Premier League, for which he confessed he would be sad not to have Bonaventure in the game. Ranieri’s worries are not unfounded, as Bonaventure, who has started four of The Hornets’ last six matches, was cast in doubt for Wednesday’s clash with Chelsea, after copping a knock last weekend. Watford lost that match 4-2 away to Leicester City, but Bonaventure entered the history book with his fifth goal of the sesson and joined the ilk of players to get that mark and same number of assists in 10 games or more. The escalating relevance of Bonaventure had also been underscored the previous weekend, when he notched two assists and scored once in a 4-2 demolition of Manchester United at Vicarage Road. Los Blancos made it six straight wins across all competitions over the weekend, Vinicius Junior’s late to secure a comeback win over Sevilla. Although it is still early, Real Madrid are now favourites to take the La Liga title, and a win on Wednesday will help. Though, they have had some injury doubts over the last few days, with David Alaba missing training in recent days, while Eden Hazard didn’t return until today. Winger Rodrygo was also a doubt, but all three have made the matchday squad, which has been announced by Real Madrid. The fitness of all three will be a big boost for Ancelotti has he and his men prepare to take on an Athletic Club side that has only lost twice so far this season. November 30, 2021 at 11:12PM

"It is our best performance, especially as it comes after a couple of performances that were not up to our standards, so it means something that we beat a big club like Lazio this way," Spalletti told DAZN. “Mertens brings that quality to the finishing, but it would be reductive just to praise him. The whole team was wonderful, it had been a long time since we had this possession football with short, quick passes. “Zielinski found the quality within his power and technique. You'd have to really be looking for a needle in a haystack to find someone who wasn't great tonight." There were 21 touches in the build-up to the second goal, scored by Mertens, as Spalletti concluded: “We were impeccable on the choices, on where to circulate the ball and Lazio struggled to close us down. It could've become a different game, which we saw rec...
