The 20-year-old now holds double citizenship, together with Spanish, and has decided to pick La Roja. He will wait for a call-up from the U21 or the senior national team. This also means that he will stay at Barcelona in January. Abde was born in Morocco and moved to Spain at the age of seven together with his family. Ezzalzouli played for Morocco U20 in the past.
