Ahead of the preseason Real Madrid players will undergo Covid-19 tests on Sunday

The Blancos are due to report back to training ahead of the new campaign.

Real Madrid players are gradually returning to the Spanish capital with the new La Liga season kicking off on September 12.

According to AS, the squad and club's technical staff will be tested for Covid-19 on Sunday after going away on their summer holidays.

Should the latest coronavirus testing return zero positive results, August 31 will be the start of the pre-season at the training centre in Valdebebas.

La Liga is yet to officially confirm the training protocols for the new season and it remains to be seen whether players will work together or in small groups.
