One condition why Marcelo could still play in Copa del Rey after 3-game ban

Marcelo told the referee "you're very bad" after receiving a red card in Real Madrid's 2-1 Copa del Rey win against Elche.

Thus, the Brazilian will serve two additional games for insulting the ref, plus his one-game ban.

The ref made all sorts of blunders on the day, including booking Toni Kroos for a tackle that never happened.

However, the good news for our captain is that he can still play in the Copa del Rey if Real Madrid reaches the final.

This is because, Madrid will play 3 games before the final - a quarter-final and a 2-legged semi-final.
