Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp says they won't be cutting short the loan of Arthur Melo.

The Brazil midfielder has undergone surgery and won't be seen until the New Year.

As such, there's been speculation that Liverpool could send the player back to Juventus in January.

But this has now been denied by Klopp - who stated on Friday: "A serious injury. He is here.

"It's a long-term injury and when he's back we'll think about it again. But at the moment it is too far away. No (we will not end his loan in January)."
