Tests confirm Benzema has 'no injury' but he doesn't want to risk ahead of World Cup

According to Relevo, Karim Benzema has undergone all the required tests and they confirmed 'no injury'.

However, the Frenchman feels some discomfort and that's why he wasn't called up for the game against Girona. Benzema doesn't want to risk a relapse ahead of the 2022 World Cup.

The striker could also miss the upcoming match against Celtic. Real Madrid have also confirmed their place in the play-offs and don't consider it necessary to force Karim back.

This term so far, the 34-year-old has played 11 games for Madrid, scoring six goals and providing an assist.
