Arsenal reach agreement to sign Jorginho

 

Arsenal have reached an agreement with Chelsea for the transfer of Jorginho before the January deadline, reports Fabrizio Romano.

The reliable journalist has given the deal his 'here we go' mark, which means it's all but confirmed.

Jorginho will be signed for a fee of merely £12 million. He's already agreed on personal terms and will join on a contract till 2024, with the option to extend for another year.

The Italian is currently travelling ahead of his scheduled medical at the Emirates.

Romano adds that Mikel Arteta was key in getting Jorginho to accept the move.
