'Liar': Benzema posts cryptic Instagram story after FIFA The Best awards

Karim Benzema finished third in FIFA’s ‘The Best Men’s Player of the Year’ award on Monday.

Lionel Messi ended up winning the award, with Kylian Mbappe finishing behind him.

There were a lot of talks about which footballer voted for whom. David Alaba sparked a controversy by voting for Messi in first place rather than Benzema.

After the show, the French forward posted a rather bizarre video on his Instagram story.

It shows a man speaking at the camera, saying in French ‘Liar, yes, you Liar.’ The video has a caption written ‘good night’ in it too.

Karim appears to be disappointed with his finish in the awards show, but it’s unclear if that video is directed at someone like Alaba or not.
