Lampard confirms N'Golo Kante could face up to three weeks on the sideline

Chelsea midfielder maestro N’Golo Kante could be sidelined for up to three weeks with an adductor injury, according to reports in the French media. The France international was substituted 12 minutes into the 2-0 defeat to Manchester United on Monday night with manager Frank Lampard confirming after the game that the prognosis did not look good for the Frenchman. Kante has certainly had his fair share of injuries this campaign. He started the season sidelined with a knee problem, before picking up ankle and hamstring injuries in the opening few months of the campaign. This latest issue will mean that he will miss crucial games against Tottenham on Saturday, as well as the Champions League last 16 clash against Bayern Munich next week.  Depending on how accurate the reports are about the extent of his injury, Kante could also miss the FA Cup tie versus Liverpool as well as the home game against Everton...

Chelsea step-up pursuit to sign Dortmund star Jadon Sancho

After finalising the deal to bring Ajax winger Hakim Ziyech to Stamford Bridge, the Chelsea have reportedly stepped up their pursuit to also bring in Borussia Dortmund and England wing wizard  Jadon Sancho.  Frank Lampard's side are set to battle against Manchester United and Liverpool for the 19-year-old's signature this summer.   France Football has it that Chelsea have already got the ball rolling by starting the “seduction business” with Sancho.   The England star has emerged as Chelsea's top target after scoring 15 goals and making 15 assists this season.

Ajax Manager Erik Ten Hag Confirm Chelsea’s Transfer Deal For Hakim Ziyech

Chelsea have reportedly agreed a £38million deal for the Hakim Ziyech who has made over 150 appearances for Ajax since signing from FC Twente in 2016. Ziyech starred in the Dutch club’s impressive run to the Champions League semi-final last season and Ten Hag admits he has been braced for his departure for some time. Speaking ahead of Ajax’s KNVB Cup clash against Vitesse Arnhem on Wednesday, he told Fox Sports: ‘Ziyech to Chelsea? A transfer was coming, we expected it to happen. 'And I actually already expected this one or two years earlier. Tottenham Set To Battle Chelsea For Ajax Shot-Stopper Signature

 Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana is said to be ready to end his spell in the Netherlands for a move to the Premier League this summer.   Chelsea and Tottenham have been linked with a move for the 23-year-old shot-stopper while Spanish heavyweights Barcelona are also trying to re-sign their former youth player. The 16-cap Cameroonian international started his footballing education at the Samuel Eto'o foundation in his homeland before joining Barcelona's youth system in 2010. Onana spent five years at La Masia but lack of first-team opportunities prompted him to move across the continent to join Ajax back in 2015. After impressing for the reserve team in the Dutch second-tier, the shot-stopper eventually made his senior breakthrough in the Eredivisie during the 2016-17 campaign and he hasn't looked back since then. Chelsea academy goalkeeper Nicolas Tie have been included  in their Champions League squad, 'B' list...   Tie was born  in Lille, France to Ivorian parents , the 18-year-old started his footballing education at Poitiers FC in the lower divisions before joining the Blues youth set-up in 2017...   Tie featured for Chelsea's side in the U-18 Premier League during his first two seasons in West London but he has made the transition to the U23s in the Premier League 2 Division 1 this term...  The highly-rated starlet has also featured in the UEFA Youth League this season while also acting as the third-choice goalkeeper in the first team whenever Kepa Arrizabalaga has been excluded from the squad...  The 18-year-old is unlikely to take the field for Chelsea in the knockout rounds of the Champions League and will presumably play second-fiddle to Kepa, Willy Caballero and Jamie Cummings.
