Gremio confirm signing of Luis Suarez, with 35-year-old former Liverpool star signing two-year deal
Gremio, the Brazilian top-flight side, have unveiled the signing of Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez. The side, based in the Brazilian city of Porto Alegre, unveiled their new player on their Twitter page, with the 35-year-old featuring in a short introductory video next to the No. 9 shirt. Gremio return to the Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A next term, after being promoted from Serie B after the conclusion of the 2022 season. The Brazilian side said: 'Let's go, @LuisSuarez9! We are prepared to achieve great things together!', alongside a picture of the Estonian flag, which matches their blue, black and white colours. Sportsmail previously revealed that Suarez would join Gremio in a two-year deal, opting for them instead of Mexico's Cruz Aazul.
