Lampard speaks on rumours of signing youngster from Man United
Chelsea have no interest in signing Angel Gomes despite reports linking the 19-year old with a move to Stamford Bridge, according to Blues boss, Frank Lampard. Gomes is out of contract at Manchester United after failing to sign a new deal and has been linked with a move to Chelsea. ‘I can elaborate to the point that it’s never been mentioned at my end,’ said Lampard when asked about Gomes’ availability in his pre-match press conference for the match at West Ham, which takes place on Wednesday. Gomes reportedly rejected United’s offer of around £25,000 a week, and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had admitted that Gomes was set to leave United.
